What it does
Runs a local-first readiness scan over your app (bundled demo fixtures or your own project) and returns a verdict (READY / NOT READY / MANUAL GATE), a 0–100 score, severity counts, evidence for every finding, and a Claude-ready fix prompt — in JSON, Markdown, and HTML. Runs entirely on your machine: no cloud, no account, no database, no billing, no telemetry.
Who it's for
Founders and AI-app builders who want to know whether an AI-built product is actually ready to publish, sell, or promote — before real users, money, or reputation are on the line.
What it does NOT do
Gives practical readiness signals and evidence, not guarantees. It is not a legal tool, not a security audit, not SOC 2, and not a penetration test. It never deploys, bills, posts, emails, creates accounts, or uses paid services, never reads your real .env files, and redacts secret-looking values to [REDACTED].

How it works
- Launch the local-first dashboard (no cloud, account, or sign-up) and pick a target: the bundled Bad Demo or Ready Demo fixture, or your own project.
- BuildProof runs read-only checks on your machine and returns a verdict (READY / NOT READY / MANUAL GATE), a 0–100 score, and severity counts.
- You get evidence for every finding plus a Claude-ready fix prompt — exportable as JSON, Markdown, and HTML.
Known limitations
- Experimental beta — checks and scoring may change or miss things.
- Practical readiness signals and evidence only — no guaranteed results, revenue, or approval.
- Not a legal tool, security audit, SOC 2, or penetration test; not yet reviewed for production use.
