8. SKUs and barcodes exist where operations need them. Fulfillment, POS, and product feeds all get harder without them.
9. No empty collections are live. And automated collection rules verified against what they actually catch.
10. SEO title and meta description set on top sellers. At minimum, the products that already get search impressions.
11. URL handles are readable and redirects are in place. Renamed a handle? The old URL should redirect, not 404.
12. Tags follow a taxonomy, not a mood. A short documented tag list beats years of accumulated tag soup.
13. Every product sits in a shipping profile. With weights set wherever rates depend on them.
14. Tax settings reviewed for the regions you actually sell to. Especially products with special rates or exemptions.
15. Policy pages exist and were edited. Refund, shipping, and privacy pages generated by the platform still need editing to match what you actually do.
16. Test-buy your bestseller on a phone. Plus one multi-variant product: variant picker, cart, checkout, and the confirmation email.
