CatalogCare LIVE
Catalog health for Shopify stores — a 0–100 score, a plain-English issue list, and a before/after preview on every fix.
What CatalogCare does
CatalogCare checks every product in your Shopify catalog across 16 common issues spanning SEO, copy, media, pricing display, and structure, then gives you a 0–100 health score, a severity-ranked issue list in plain English, and a before/after preview on every suggested change. Approve the fixes that matter, or let Autopilot handle low-risk cleanup.
What CatalogCare checks
- SEO: missing product SEO titles and meta descriptions
- Copy: thin or missing product descriptions
- Media: product images shipped without alt text
- Pricing display issues (flagged for display only — never changes prices)
- Product structure and organization gaps
- 16 checks in total across SEO, copy, media, pricing display, and structure
How it works
- Install CatalogCare from the Shopify App Store and run a scan — every product is checked across 16 issues.
- Open the health score: a 0–100 number plus a severity-ranked list, with missing SEO descriptions, no alt text, and thin copy first.
- Click into a fix to see the exact before/after, then apply the ones you approve and skip anything you don't.
- Turn on Autopilot for low-risk blanks only — missing SEO titles, derived SEO descriptions, image alt text — with a per-run cap and the option to exclude any fix type.
- Re-scan: post-apply verification confirms each change actually applied, and your score trend updates.
What CatalogCare does not do
CatalogCare reads product data only — never customers or orders — and never changes prices, compare-at prices, inventory, variants, availability, or collections. It surfaces catalog-health signals and makes no ranking, traffic, or sales promises.

Frequently asked questions
Does CatalogCare change my prices or inventory?
No. CatalogCare reads product data only and never changes prices, compare-at prices, inventory, variants, availability, or collections. Pricing-display issues are flagged for display only — the app never edits a price.
What does CatalogCare check?
Every product is checked across 16 common issues spanning SEO, copy, media, pricing display, and product structure — for example missing SEO titles and meta descriptions, thin or missing descriptions, and images shipped without alt text.
What is the health score?
A single 0–100 number that summarises your catalog health, paired with a severity-ranked issue list in plain English so the highest-impact fixes — missing SEO descriptions, no alt text, and thin copy — come first.
Do I have to apply every suggested fix?
No. Every suggested change shows an exact before/after preview, and you apply only the ones you approve and skip anything you don't. Nothing is changed without your approval unless you choose to turn on Autopilot.
What does Autopilot do?
Autopilot handles low-risk blanks only — missing SEO titles, derived SEO descriptions, and image alt text — with a per-run cap and the option to exclude any fix type. You stay in control of everything else, and you can leave it off.
Does CatalogCare access my customers or orders?
No. CatalogCare reads product data only — never customers or orders — and it makes no ranking, traffic, or sales promises.
